UGA launches 'AI @ UGA' central hub with courses, policies, and a free AI literacy course for the campus community
The University of Georgia has created AI @ UGA, a central hub where students, faculty and staff can find AI courses, policies and news, along with a free literacy course and an expanded student pilot program for AI tools.
The hub offers a free course called AI Literacy for All and a teaching guide from UGA’s Center for Teaching and Learning. This fall the university also expanded a student pilot program that lets participants try ChatGPT Edu, Gemini Pro for Education, and Microsoft 365 Copilot, and the Institute for Artificial Intelligence at UGA unveiled a new Certificate in Artificial Intelligence, Language, Minds, and Machines.
