Georgia Milestones science scores hold steady or improve on all four assessments in 2025-2026
The Georgia Department of Education reports that on the 2025-2026 Georgia Milestones assessments, scores increased or held steady on all four science assessments and both social studies assessments, with some math grade levels reaching all-time highs.
The Georgia Milestones assessments are given to students in grades 3 through 8 and in identified high school courses. The department also reported gains or steady results on 12 of 13 End-of-Grade and End-of-Course assessments overall, and English Language Arts results were not yet included because the state administered a newly aligned ELA test this year.
