Georgia Tech Summer Institute brings 105 students from 62 counties to campus for a free week-long residential STEM program

Georgia Tech's Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing hosted 105 rising high school juniors from 62 Georgia counties for a free, week-long residential Summer Institute exploring STEM fields and college life.

The Georgia Tech Summer Institute, run by Expanded Learning Programs within CEISMC, selected its 2026 cohort from more than 200 nominations submitted by school districts across the state. Students attended sessions on admissions, financial aid, and student life, and took part in hands-on activities led by faculty from several Georgia Tech colleges, all at no cost to participants.
